I swear, I am addicted to blogs. I can spend my day or even a weekend, searching for blogs.  Then, once I enjoy  reading it,  means another whole day, even two, just reading from beginning to end (or latest post).  That’s  what happened when I stumbled upon 101 Grams of (Eye) Candy.  I was instantly captured by  first and foremost:  the clean format, of her blog. Second:  Her never ending practical tips and tricks on Organizing, Decorating and Home Solutions (such a sucker for these topics!)
Once I adore a blog, I instantly try to contact the blogger (friendly I am, right? <3) and touch base, exchange views  on all sorts of stuff.  And in the process, become friends . This is how I have come to know the blogger,  the wit behind this super awesome blog.  And to my opinion,  She and her Blog,  too shameful not to share.  So, I wasted no time and jumbled some Q & A for for me (and you) to get to know the blogger (and yes her blog) Enjoy…
aMoT: Â Â What is your name? Â Â Â Â EC: Â Pat
aMoT:    What inspired you to blog    Â
EC:  I was inspired by the many blogs I read! Suddenly, I felt like I was talking to myself, putting captions on things I see. I was hearing them in my mind! I knew I needed an outlet. It took a year before I finally did it.
aMoT:   What do you blog about?    EC: Stuff I love.
aMoT:   Share with me your personal life     EC:  I’m married and I have four kids – all girls! We have 2 turtles and 2 dogs.
aMoT:  what is your typical day like?  any routines you want to share?    EC:  On school days, I wake up at 5am, give my 2 younger kids their baths. (I do this everyday, it’s like my bonding time with them). I then check on everybody before they leave for school.    When they leave, there’s a bit of alone time for me ( I squeeze in blogging and watching a.m. shows).  By 9:30 my husband and I leave for work, that’s a 5-minute drive to our office. From there, in between, I go to client calls, maybe do the grocery and some errands. If I’m lucky I escape to pick up my kids, and then have an excuse to visit the mall ( the freedom!), but most of the time, we are at work in the office until 6pm.    Then back at home and do the usual stuff – dinner, homework, and more internet surfing (guilty!).
a.M.oT:  what is your day job ?   EC:  I’m in the printing business.  Soon, when Im ready,  I will blog a little more about my work.
a.M.oT:  What is the ONE THING you want people to know about you and why?     EC: I’m simple and practical (oops that’s 2). Haha, I don’t know why, so they won’t expect something else?
a.M.oT:  What is your weakness . What is your strength?    EC: Weakness – I think too much. Strength – I can get things done –for myself, for my family, for my work.
a.M.oT: Â What is the best part of your home? Â EC:Â Â Bedroom
a.M.oT:  What is your most favorite post and why?  EC: My ‘Paul Smith Thoughts’ post. His points just clicked with the life I’m living.
a.M.oT:  What are you lusting for now ; a material thing,  a trip,  a spa, anything?    EC:  Hmm, not really lusting, but waiting for the right bag—anything YSL, or a Sophia Coppola LV. A chandelier for my living room. I’m dreaming of a tufted sofa for my future home.Â
a.M.oT:  How do you spend your ME TIME?      EC:  I like shopping alone. I love reading my magazines and books on slow Sunday mornings. I spend alone time in my office too, trying to be creative, doing my own personal projects and print stuff for myself and my friends.
