Hello, Welcome to a Matter of Taste, by me: miaymarch or Mia, for short.
I am an art lover+ an avid collector, a photographer, a style enthusiast, a frustrated designer, who lives by the saying: Create to Inspire — Inspire to Create!
Major details of who a.M.o.T is? I am a 40something wife to my husband Jay, and a mother to three wonderful human beings, who, until this day, is amazed of how I am coping with my children’s age gaps : Dani, my oldest, a daughter in her 20s; Paolo, my son, a teenager, and my younget and the most visible here in my site, Menca, who I also call Spunky, just entered Year 1.
Blessed to have lived in three cities to date: Manila , Singapore and now Bangkok (for now at least), I think I may have come to terms that Home is where my Husband is.
Little things about a.M.oT? I am a self confessed Gadget-Freak-Mom, who literally believes that all her Apple(s) a day keeps the doctor away! I too am a social media addict who needs her daily online-fix just as much as her Black Cuppa, a cocktail or two, once in while. I love the outdoors, am quite an active mom who is an ex- golf, ex-diver and a frustrated runner.

I made a conscious decision to be a Work-From-Home-Mom , and take-on freelance projects, since our move here, in BKK, two years ago. Because of this, I decided to re-format my old personal blogs (Catwife in BKK and {Just Add} Inspiration) to a more dynamic and progressive one, hence the birth of A Matter Of Taste by miaymarch; my virtual work and play space, it will contain everything I love to see, to do and share.
What’s in this site?
Daily {the blog} will be my lifestyle diary. A collection of musings on everything I desire & aspire, as well as well as bits and pieces of my daily life. Here, expect me to explore, document and share nothing but stylish, fab, glamourous and tasteful things for us, chic+ modern women — Family &Home, Life&Style, Inspiration.
photography miaymarch, will be my gallery of all my past and present works as a photographer, as well as the services I offer. I will also share personal tips and techniques that have, somehow, made me a better photographer. I will also venture into casual workshops for women and kids, who would like improve their photographic eye.
MIArt, (Modern Independent Art) will feature my art collection. Each piece will tell a story of how and why I acquired them. Some pieces maybe for sale, while some I will just show. Either way, it will showcase my love for art.
Art.icles {Art Chronicles} I am not a schooled graphic artist but my exposure to design and paper elements has honed my eye for details so well that I developed a love for it. This is how I decided to bring back this love — Art.icles {Art Chronicles} will be a creative journey for me; it will marry my love for simple design + paper+ typography + photography.
