I was very excited to grace and cover this Press Launch last week — ITALIAN CUISINE THAIFEX 2013. This launch was to kick off a very exciting event called : Two Weeks Of Italian Cuisine, where else but here in the heart of Bangkok! And what really enticed me to attend the launch was because it was to be held in a happy place , well a happy place for me, where furniture and home accessories are all over — right in the heart of the DH Home (Decor Mart) headquarters. So besides being able to devour Italian Cuisine at its finest, I was devouring every dish amidst stylish home furnishings at the DM Home. Isn’t that hitting two birds with one stone ? Definitely.

Sun Sea Swim :: Koh Samui {A Weekend Getaway}

The H and I are such beach buddies. We actually miss diving a lot! We love the sun and the sea and just lazying out on the beach. So, one weekend last April, during our annual getaway with the family, I planned a long weekend trip to Koh Samui. I yet have to see the other beaches but they said it’s one of the best beaches in Thailand.

A Treat For Change {My Mother's Day Musings}

Change is inevitable. And because we mothers always deal with constant change, mostly not for ourselves but for others, I am thinking this Mother’s Day we should actually treat ourselves to it — CHANGE.

When I speak of CHANGE I am not talking about how to become a better mother. What I am driving at is to strive for the CHANGE to improve ourselves, as individuals, as women, that would then make us better mothers in the process. I am talking about looking inward, beyond motherhood, on who we are and how we can reach our full potential as a person.

A Wedding In A Garden {Monday Show & Tell}

Last week I witnessed a wedding in a garden of two people who found love late in their lives and when they least expected it. The bride who is a dear friend and exactly my age, very independent, was quite comfortable in her life until she met her Mr. Right, who she never thought would change her life. And as cliche as it sounds, the rest is history.
