The challenge I relished then, as I do now, is to compose the perfect shot, find the right light, perspective and then capture the moment. People have always been a favorite subject. I like to capture aspects of peoples personalities. Kids are particularly fun to photograph, and in that department, I’ve had a lifetime of up-close-and-personal experience. Over the years, documenting the lives of my three children, engrossed in their games and bubbling over with laughter, in pensive moods, or over-the-moon with an indescribable joy has grown into a serious occupation. As a photographer, I’ve had a number of shoots with children as my subject and it just gets more fun every time. After all, few things are as special and as genuine as the sparkle in their eyes.

I like to photograph my subjects using available light and to stay true to the mood of the moment. I love shooting in the great outdoors, or in casual and natural settings, rather than in a studio. And I thoroughly enjoy working with my subjects create the perfect shot as much as seeing the final product.
